Be the first to move all 15 of your checkers off the board (bear off).
Setup
White moves from points 24→1, Black moves from points 1→24. Each starts with checkers on points 24(2), 13(5), 8(3), 6(5).
Rolling & Moving
On your turn, roll two dice. Move your checkers that many points toward your home board. You may split the roll between two pieces or use both on one.
Hitting
If you land on a point with exactly one opponent checker (a "blot"), it goes to the bar. A checker on the bar must re-enter before any other moves.
Blocking
Two or more of your checkers on a point create a "prime" — opponents can't land there.
Bearing Off
Once all your checkers are in your home board (points 1–6 for White, 19–24 for Black), you may bear them off. Roll a 3 and remove a checker from point 3.
