Have more pieces of your color on the board than your opponent when no more moves are possible. The player with the most pieces wins.
Taking a Turn
Place your piece on any empty square that traps at least one of your opponent's pieces between your new piece and another of your existing pieces.
Trapping works in any direction — horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.
All of your opponent's pieces that are trapped between your new piece and your existing pieces are flipped to your color.
Valid Moves
You must make a move that flips at least one opponent piece. Valid squares are highlighted with a faint dot. If you have no valid move, your turn is skipped. If neither player can move, the game ends.
Strategy Tips
Corners are king. Corner pieces can never be flipped — grab them whenever possible.
Avoid the squares next to corners. Playing there gives your opponent a chance to take the corner.
Control the edges. Edge pieces can only be flipped from one direction, making them more stable.
Think ahead. A big lead early can vanish — the last few moves often flip dozens of pieces at once.
Winning
The board fills up (or neither player can move) and pieces are counted. Most pieces wins. A full board with 64 pieces means the game went all the way!
